As a participant of Barbara Rice Tours, enjoy a memorable Alaska cruise-tour beginning in Vancouver, British
Columbia, and ending in Anchorage, Alaska. The cruise portion is aboard Princess Cruises’ Diamond Princess.
After your arrival in Vancouver, transfer to your ship for the cruise to Whittier (itinerary below). The Diamond Princess
also offers shows, dancing, movies, health club, swimming, bingo, casino and much more. Upon arrival in Whittier,
travel by motorcoach on the scenic journey to Anchorage, and then you’ll take a flight to Fairbanks for the night. The
next day cruise down the Chena River on an authentic sternwheeler riverboat. Then continue your motorcoach trip
south to Denali National Park, where you will stay at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. The next morning take
the Tundra Tour into Denali National Park. Then travel by Princess rail to the south side of Denali for a
two-night stay at the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge in Talkeetna. Choose from a selection of
optional excursions or just relax at the lodge the next day. On the final morning transfer by motorcoach to
Anchorage for your flight home.
